Join us to hear Jeffrey Liker - one of the world's foremost experts in the underlying philosophies of the "Toyota Way" and the gap between the Toyota Production System and management practices at other companies.
Dr Liker is a Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations at the University of Michigan and the author of the international bestseller The Toyota Way, which has sold more than 650,000 copies worldwide.
He has devoted thirty years to the study of Japanese companies, particularly the inner workings of Toyota where he has been granted unprecedented access to the company's systems and people.
In addition to The Toyota Way, Dr Liker has published six other books about Toyota and won nine Shingo prizes for Research Excellence. He won the 2005 Institute of Industrial Engineers Book of the Year award and the 2007 Sloan Industry Book of the Year award.
He is an accomplished academic, an international consultant and a frequent keynote speaker.
